Works perfectly. It is very easy to use. Doesn't take very long to heat up and gives you perfect curls. Just Put hair into the clip roll up your hair will go into the groves naturally and hold pulling away from your body and you will have lovely bouncing curls.

 

I absolutely love this with young child's hair as well. Because of the design of how the hair wraps into the groves of the curls and nothing around the top part of the surface (colored area) is hot it is easy to use without fear of burning them when they happen to move and not sit still. It has a 360 rotating cord/connection which makes it easy and you wont have to worry about tangling cords. The cord is also a nice length to where you can walk around a chair doing someone's hair without running out of cord length.
