Cooking your meat to make sure they are thoroughly cooked is a very important thing when making dinner. This works great! I am able to cook my steaks or chicken and have a long lead to that leads out of the pan so I am able to read the temperature with it not being super close and fear of being burnt. It is very accurate with an easy to read screen. You are able to adjust the screen so it is at an angle that it is easy for you to read it. There is a timer connected on this as well so you can use it to time each side you cook. I received this as a gift to share my experiences while using this product.
