I am one of those girls that has 2 shades. pale or lobster. So I need a good sunscreen to help me from not burning. This stuff works great. Coloring your hair is a great way to refresh your look. The more you understand it, the more control you’ll have over the results. Our friends at Madison Reed have five easy tips to get and keep better hair color.

1. Just the Roots
Permanent hair color works by opening your hair cuticle, lifting out the current color, and depositing a new one. If you repeat this process over and over on the same hair, it will begin to lose protein and become more porous. This affects how your hair color applications turn out: porous hair will take on a lot of color easily, but not hold on to it well. If your hair gets really dark when you first color and then fades very quickly, you have porous hair.
The best way to prevent this is by only coloring your roots, the new hair growth, after your initial application of a new color or shade. That way, you will avoid reprocessing hair that has already been colored. Wait until you can see a clear band of outgrowth for a more accurate application, about every 3-4 weeks. Overlapping when touching up can cause variations in color. If you’re worried about your roots showing between applications, use Root Touch Up to get great color coverage that lasts from shampoo to shampoo.
To refresh color on your lengths and ends, pull permanent color through your hair every fourth or fifth coloring session. Or you can refresh with semi-permanent color, which corrects tone and acts as a long-lasting stain on hair that has already been opened.
2. Gloss it Up
Semi-permanent color, also known as hair gloss, is a beautiful hair multi-tasker! You can also use clear gloss to deep condition and add light-reflecting shine, or tinted shades to brighten faded color and add shine, tone and dimension. 3. Use it or Lose It
I know what you’re thinking: will I have to throw away all that extra hair color if I only color my roots? This is very important: only mix the developer and color that you are using immediately. Do not keep any color that has been mixed with developer.
When they are mixed together, it sets off a chemical reaction. Mixed color will not be effective, and it can also be dangerous to store.
Now for the good news. Unmixed, both developer and color have a longer shelf life: 3 years unopened and 6 months after package has been opened. Just be sure to keep them separate until you’re ready to use them!
4. Cut the Harsh Chemicals
A healthier formula makes all the difference when frequently coloring your hair. Harsh chemicals damage hair, making it stripped, dry, brittle, and dull. I love how it has a divider and 3 different slots you can put the divider in to be able to keep your food separate. I decided to cook some ears of corn on one side and BBQ chicken wings on the other. I have an older vehicle it is a 2002 and it has the original leather seats in it. My SUV has been through it all and the seats have been looking really cracked and bad lately. This helped with a lot of the crack and scratches. My seats looked beat up before I used this and now they are a lot better. Even with cleaning my seats before applying the conditioner it got some oil and diesel grease stains out of my seats that have been there for years. It mad my seats look a lot better and even smell better. It has a very light almond like scent to it that isn't strong or an over barring but it gives it a nice light scent. Paracord bracelets are one of the new in things. The clasp is nice and makes it adjustable for different size wrists. I like the design of the single red strip of paracord in the center. I've made my own and haven't done something that looked as nice as this. The inside of it is smooth for my wrist so I don't have to worry about chafing.  Its nice to wear around or out camping. Since paracord can come in handy for an emergency situation while in the middle of no where.  The clasp of the paracord is also a little saw and the other part of the clasp is magnesium so you can use that to start your own fire. These are cute water bottles! I kept the small one and gave the bigger one to my mom! We both have given up pop for new years and have been trying hard to keep to it. These water bottles have helped us. We can easily fill it up with water or tea and take it to go. The bottles have a few great features to it. I really like how they have a clip on the back of the bottle so you can clip it or hang it where ever you need. I like how the top of the bottle flips open but the spring could be a little more sturdier and the button is a little hard for younger kids to press. I like the nozzle part where you drink at it. It is easy to drink out of and they have an awesome mesh screen in the top of it as well. I love everything about it but its hard to get that last little sip at the bottom out. One of the things I have been trying to do is find a way to save money and recycle more. Well this helps with both!  A flashlight is a must have in all car emergency kits. I have broken down on the side of the road and been without a flash light but learned my lesson on that one. This flashlight is excellent. There is the normal front of the flashlight light. Than you can have LED bar on the shaft of the flash light turned on which is extremely bright.

Stainless steel strainers are awesome and have so many uses. I love this set of 3, They are so easy to use and love the different sizes to make it easier to have the right one for the job. I have used these so many times since I have gotten them. I love the small one for being able to scoop out noodles and dumplings out of boiling water. It is easier to scoop it out of the pan than spilling scalding hot water everywhere. I have used them to sift flour which it also works great to sift powder sugar on top of brownies or cupcakes. These are very durable and made out of a high grade stainless steel. They are very well put together and look professional. They are a great must have in the kitchen. I also like how the ends are so you can literally hang either end on a hook in the cabinet and how you can have that extra lip to also have it a top of a bowl so you can just add things to it without having to hold it. I tried it with some veggies as I cooked chicken breasts along side it so I could make a great stir fry with it. I just sprayed it a bit with non stick spray and than threw in my veggies. This worked great. it cooked the veggies perfectly and made it so I could cook them on the grill along side with my food. This is perfect so I don't have to keep buying the tin trays just to throw them away after one use. I have used this several times and it is great. On one side I will throw some diced potatoes seasonings onions in one side other veggies in the other and it is perfect. They cook evenly and great on the grill. It comes with little pot holder handles so you can easily just carry your food inside from the grill. The little holes aren't too big to where food falls out of the wok.
